Pediatric Care Services

When it comes to caring for your child, we know that you want the very best. The experienced staff and nurses of QOC understand the challenges that families face when they bring home a medically fragile child, and we can use this experience to assist you in your transition.

Our Pediatric Home Care team is specially trained in pediatrics and dedicated in providing skilled, compassionate care for medically complex and fragile premature babies, infants, children and young adults through the age of 21.

After the initial meeting with your family, Quality One Care employs a collaborative and coordinated care specific to your child.

Our pediatric team will work with your child’s physician to develop a well-coordinated care plan, and communicate freely with the doctors, specialists, pharmacists, medical supply vendors and case manager to ensure consistency in your child’s care.

Our RN supervisor will coordinate with home equipment vendor and pharmacy to deliver medical equipment, medications and supplies to your home.

Our pediatric home care services are provided by RNs and LPNs under the supervision of RN supervisor.

Besides, administering medications, nurse provide daily physical assessment, observes the patient for changes in condition and measuring and recording patient’s temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.

Home care nurse also, obtain laboratory samples and monitor the result.

If patient is receiving Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) or enteral feeding home care nurse will assess patient nutritional status together with measuring patient’s weight, length and abdomen girth.
